How to Register a Domain Name on {HOST_BRAND}

This guide explains how to register a domain name with {HOST_BRAND}. There are two ways to register a domain depending on whether you already have a {HOST_BRAND} account.

Overview

You can register a domain name in two places:

1. Register directly from the {HOST_BRAND} website (for new customers)
2. Register from the {HOST_BRAND} Control Panel (for existing customers)

It is important to use the correct method because registering a domain from the website will create a new account. If you already have an account, please log in before registering the domain.

Option 1 — Register a Domain on the {HOST_BRAND} Website (New Customers)

If you have never used {HOST_BRAND} before and do not have an account, you should register your domain directly from the {HOST_BRAND} website.

Steps to Register a Domain from {HOST_BRAND} Website

1. Open the Domain Registration Page
   Go to {DOMAIN_URL} to access {HOST_BRAND}’s domain registration page.
2. Enter Domain Details
   Type your desired domain name and select the domain extension you want to register.
3. Check Availability
   Click Search to see if the domain is available.
   • If the domain is available, the Register button will appear.
   • If you only see the Transfer button, the domain has already been registered by someone else.
4. Register the Domain
   Click the Register button and provide the required WHOIS information for the domain.
5. Create an Account and Checkout
   • Enter a username on the sign-up form.
   • Check the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy boxes.
   • Create your account and complete the checkout process.

Note: Registering a domain this way will create a new {HOST_BRAND} account during checkout.

Option 2 — Register a Domain from the Control Panel (Existing Customers)

If you already have a {HOST_BRAND} account, register your domain from the Control Panel rather than the main website.

Registering a domain from the main website will create a new account, which may lead to confusion with billing and domain management.

Steps to Register a Domain from Your {HOST_BRAND} Account

1. Log in to Your {HOST_BRAND} Control Panel
   Access your account at {HOST_BRAND} and log in.
2. Navigate to Registered Domains
   Go to My Domains > Registered Domains.
3. Start Domain Registration
   Click Register/Transfer Domain.
4. Enter Domain Details
   Type your desired domain name and select the domain extension you want to register.
5. Check Availability
   Click Search.
   • If the domain is available, the Register button will appear.
   • If you only see the Transfer button, the domain has already been registered by someone else.
6. Register the Domain
   Click Register to proceed.
7. Complete the Order
   Follow the prompts to complete your order and check out.

Important Notes

• New customers should register domains from the {HOST_BRAND} website.
• Existing customers should log in first before registering domains. If you register a domain directly from the website without logging in, a new account will be created. To manage all your domains under a single account, always make sure you are logged in and register any additional domains through the Control Panel.
