This article explains how to host a domain on your {HOST_BRAND} hosting account using the Hepsia hosting control panel. Hosting a domain allows you to upload website files, create email accounts, install applications like WordPress, and use your domain with your hosting services.
Before You Start
Before hosting your domain, please make sure:
- You have an active {HOST_BRAND} hosting account. (Don’t have an account? Buy one here.)
- You have a registered domain name. (Register a domain here if you don’t have one.)
- Your domain nameservers are pointing to {HOST_BRAND}. (If you registered your domain with {HOST_BRAND}, this is done automatically. For domains registered elsewhere, please update the nameservers at your registrar.)
- DNS changes may take a few hours to propagate across the internet.
Steps
Follow the steps below to host your domain on {HOST_BRAND}:
(Note: The domain you entered when signing up for your hosting account is automatically added to your control panel, so you don’t need to add it again.)
Step 1: Log in to your {HOST_BRAND} hosting control panel: Visit {HOST_URL} and click Sign In in the navigation menu to access your account.
Step 2: Go to My Domains > Hosted Domains.
Step 3: Click the HOST DOMAIN button.
Step 4: Enter your domain name (for example: example.com). Do not include “www”.
Step 5: Click the Add a Host button to complete the setup.
If everything goes smoothly, you will see the prompt message:
“You have successfully added a new domain/subdomain to your account.”
You will also see the domain listed in the domain table at the bottom of the page.
After your domain is hosted, you can upload your website files, create databases and email accounts, and manage other hosting features in your control panel.
